Name : Babu (baa-boo)

Height : 30-40 cm

Width : 15-20 cm

Lifespan : 10-15 years

Forms: According to the weather, Babu sheds their fur. Most disctinction of a short-haired Babu to a long-haired one is on their ears and tails. Female babu has a diamond shaped patch of fur on the forehead and a different coloured tail.

Common Habitats : These creatures can be found all over Voleros. The one in Alora are all short-haired, while the one in Lumeria are all long haired). In Risohli and Elavernis, it can be both depends on the personal temperature endurance of the babu.

Diet : They are omnivorous. Mostly they eat fruits but they are know to handle gijinka's meal pretty well.

Population : Quite common. Babu like to live in packs (in minimum of 4-5 babus per pack).

About :
Babu is a very social creature. They had been known to love being around gijinkas. Their playful nature can sometimes cause mischief, but they never meant any harm. Most of them are domesticated though there's some still in the wild.

Another famous trait of babu is that they can mimic gijinka. This has been used by the gijinka to train them into helping with daily chores. But babu is not a battle animal, they have no magic nor strenght. If a gijinka want to keep them be noted about their big appetite. Their usual daily intake of food can be almost twice their body weight.

Their fur normally comes in two colors, their main and feathering being a different color or shade from their body fur. However there is a rare chance of a babu born with their main and feathering to be the same color as their body color. But the tail and patch still takes a different color in female. Also babu has furry membrane stretched from their arm to their feet to help them glide and ligthen their body weight. Babu make sounds like 'babuu~' hence came the name.

Babu are warm blooded, but lay eggs. The male and female both take turns in warming the egg by snuggling them with their body. Once hatched, the babies are, on average, the size of an adult male gijinka's fist. When adults they can grow to be as large as an adult male gijinka's head.

Please don't make rare babu as pet unless you have a pretty good excuse...
Also read the info carefully so you won't be mistaken in having a short-haired or long-haired babu. Also as for colours, babu can have any colours imaginable but restricted to 2 solid colours per normal babu (no pattern is allowed).
